2023 Programme
The 2023 programme featured performances from the below artists:
-
Andy Spearpoint
Live Performance
Saxophone, Synthesisers, Vocals and Drum Machines
Andy debuted a performance of ‘sonic cut ups and wonky beats’, dreamed up and written in a nearby studio, inspired by the local area and performed phenomenally.
-
Mercy & Salvation
Mercy & Salvation brought their personally handmade soundsystem to the hills of Cloughjordan for the third time. The system was modified and tuned to its environs giving their performance a stand out sonic presence
-
Ru
Collecting sounds from Belfast, London and South Africa, Cloughjordan’s own chief chili grower delivered a set decsribed as even spicier than his produce
-
Bob Konspiracy
Laois’s best kept secret ended proceedings like no one else could. Over a decade of honed vinyl mixing skills set the end of the night on fire. A set we’ll never forget.
-
Dumb Posh Hippies
Recently reformed from the ashes of Dublin punk band Melter rises the Dumb Posh Hippies. Although a highly controversial name in an area well known for being populated by ‘long hair blow ins’ (ourselves often included) the debut of this first live performance from the band and their new EP, truly blew us away.
-
Wasteman
He takes away your waste and brings you a brighter, smiley-er day. Local beginner DJ Wasteman made us question just how long ago he did begin, with such a fantastic opening set.
-
DJ Smólhaus
A staple on the underground club culture scene of the mid 20-teens, Smolhaus played a rare return to the wheels of steel to bring back UKF, UKG and bass flavours that subtly flavoured the sonic landscape of late night parties from 2010-2016
-
Rupert's House
Experimental and alternative synth sounds from local upcoming artist Rupert’s House both amazed and occaisonally confused us.
-
DJ Ollie M
Local staple DJ Ollie brought fan favourites and kept the movement moving
